Terms of Service

Swoopit is a receipt scanner. The app reads receipts you photograph, checks the arithmetic printed on them, and keeps a digital copy for you. We also sell Beacon hardware and business subscriptions that let merchants issue digital receipts at checkout.

You need an account to sync receipts. Keep your credentials secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@swoopit.app if you think it has been misused.

Swoopit works hard to read receipts correctly and will tell you when a receipt’s own numbers do not reconcile. Even so, automated reading is not perfect. Swoopit is a record-keeping tool, not accounting, tax or financial advice — check anything you rely on for tax, reimbursement or accounting purposes.

Do not use Swoopit to break the law, to upload content you have no right to, to attempt to access other people’s data, or to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

Scanning receipts is free. Business subscriptions are billed per active register at the price shown at checkout and renew at that price and frequency until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe.

• Cancelling — cancel any time from your Swoopit portal (Business → Billing) or by emailing support@swoopit.app. Cancellation takes effect immediately and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Subscription refunds — cancel any time; we do not pro-rate part-periods.
• Beacon hardware — 30-day money-back guarantee.

Beacons ship within 24 hours from our Sydney warehouse via AusPost (tracked). Standard shipping is free Australia-wide; international rates are shown at checkout. Risk passes to you on delivery.

Your receipts are yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store, process and show them back to you, and to run a verification check when you enable it. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy.

We aim to keep Swoopit running, but the service is provided “as is” and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. On-device scanning continues to work without a connection.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of Swoopit is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded.

You can stop using Swoopit and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms.

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected here with a new date. Questions: support@swoopit.app — we answer within one business day. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
